Mission
The Daily Catch is a private, non-profit, independent, online newspaper devoted to reporting on the news, personalities, and activities of people, schools, merchants, farms, and government in and around the Hudson Valley towns of Red Hook and Rhinebeck, N.Y. We also aim to train a new generation of American journalists in the highest standards of our profession.
About our journalism
We are a local independent non-profit newsroom that is entirely member- and subscriber-supported. We are proud to be training three young journalists ranging in age from 18 to 24.
