With every report, story, and investigation, we strive to help readers build a more affordable, inclusive, and livable city.

The Frisc is intensely focused on the city we love, a city of stark inequity, unfulfilled promise, and corrosive discourse. We wouldn’t live anywhere else! And we’re dedicated to making it better through a journalism of civic engagement. We do not limit ourselves to a single subject, because housing, transit and street safety, bureaucracy, and other civic issues are deeply intertwined.
