Mission
The Badger Project is a nonpartisan journalism nonprofit in Wisconsin that investigates state government, campaign donors, law enforcement and related matters. Our goal is to empower Wisconsin residents with facts and context so they can make informed decisions in their lives and in the voting booth. With the decline of news sources around the state, we focus on providing coverage for areas — both in topic and location — that don’t get much attention.
About our journalism
The Badger Project covers state politics and campaign donors in Wisconsin, as well as law enforcement and other related issues across the state.
We do this especially in rural areas of the state without much news coverage.
This work is for all the residents of Wisconsin.
