Mission
Mission Local, an independent, nonprofit news site based in the Mission District, covers city-wide issues that affect all San Francisco residents, but often negatively impact communities of color. We aim to produce high-impact journalism covering government, criminal justice, housing and education while also training a cadre of reporters who reflect the diversity of the city.

We are also focused on training and mentoring young journalists who reflect the diversity of the city.
