KOSU is more than a radio station. We’re a community organization dedicated to sparking curiosity with stories, resources, events and information that connect people. We report news in collaboration with the public, not just for the public. KOSU helps Oklahomans understand issues that are important to them and discover new things about our state.
About our journalism
Every month we reach more than 500,000 Oklahomans by freely sharing the content we produce with other media outlets and nonprofits and by publishing on our multimedia channels including podcast, email newsletter, kosu.org, radio, text message and social media.
Our independent nonprofit newsroom will never put a paywall between people and the information they need. We are poised to make progress to fill the gap being left by collapsing newspapers, but we need more resources to do it. Thank you for your generosity and consideration.
