Mission
Global Press is an international news organization that creates a more informed and inclusive world by training and employing local women journalists to report news in some of the world’s least-covered places.
About our journalism
To truly change the story, the storyteller of record must also change.
Global Press Journal reporters have the agency to choose their own stories, those that matter most to their community. All of their coverage, which offers deep context and nuanced analysis of topics not covered elsewhere, is published in English and the local language on our multilingual news publication Global Press Journal.
Each reporter works closely with the Global Press Accuracy Network, our team of editors, copy editors, fact checkers, and translators, to ensure the highest standards of accuracy in journalism.
All Global Press Journal stories adhere to the Global Press Style Guide, a living document that establishes rules for promoting dignity and precision in international journalism.
