Mission
Founded in 2020 by journalist CD Davidson-Hiers, the News Watch has grown into a statewide news site publishing environmental journalism by our next generation of reporters. Our goal is to expand the pathways into environmental journalism through dedicated mentorship and publishing opportunities. All students work directly with their mentor to develop and report story ideas — and get paid for their work.
