Colorado News Collaborative (COLab) is a first-of-its-kind nonprofit designed to increase community participation across Colorado through local journalism.
About our journalism
As a result of our work, all Coloradans will be informed about the issues that impact their daily lives, engaged in local government and inspired to affect positive change in their communities.
We accomplish our mission by ensuring anyone who lives in our state has access to high quality, reliable, local reporting about the people, systems and organizations responsible for making sure our needs are met.
To strengthen the local news infrastructure responsible for producing reporting on behalf of Coloradans, COLab convenes journalists, local news outlets and industry groups to work in tandem on three priorities: Better News, More Trust and Faster Evolution.
