Mission

The Bucks County Herald Foundation’s mission is to support local journalism and the dissemination of information in the public interest in Bucks County, PA and surrounding counties. The Foundation’s primary means for fulfilling its mission is by helping the Bucks County Herald to thrive. The Bucks County Herald provides a broad spectrum of coverage of local community news, and the Foundation supports all of it, with particular emphasis on: Nonpartisan coverage of local governmental news encompassing over 20 municipalities and six school boards. Voter education and civic engagement. Personal, family and community health and wellness. The environment. Education and youth development. Local arts and culture.
