About our journalism
Anthropocene magazine elevates the conversation about climate and sustainability science to one of national and international urgency, and to help spark a conversation about innovation and reform. We achieve this through award-winning journalism, partnerships with other news outlets, and public forums.
Our goal is not to make people feel better; nor is it to scare them into paralysis. Rather we are forging a sophisticated middle ground: evidence-based journalism that puts the best science and innovations into the hands of those who can do the most with them. In other words, we are balancing urgency with efficacy.
