Our vision is to inspire dynamic community media for the future of the North Shore, by providing a forum for local perspectives that supports an informed public, is built on journalistic integrity, empowers storytelling, strengthens our democracy, and invests in the well-being of our community.
About our journalism
WTIP covers county, city, and township meetings for the Arrowhead region of Northeast Minnesota. We also cover the tribal lands of the Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Our coverage is for not only full-time residents but also the vast number of seasonal residents and visitors.
