Mission

The Yonkers Ledger is dedicated to delivering high-quality unbiased news and cultural education to the city of Yonkers, New York. The Yonkers Ledger is a volunteer-driven group of locals promoting community events, reporting on municipal government, and offering a platform for residents to express their views in a professional and moderated environment.
In an effort to join the fight against encroaching “news deserts”, The Ledger has intentionally maintained its status as a 501(c)3 charitable organization and displays no advertising or paid promotions to ensure to their readership that information published on its platform is not slanted by any political or corporate affiliation.
