Mission
The New Humanitarian (TNH) is an independent, non-profit newsroom that believes in journalism as a force for good. We produce fact-based journalism from the heart of conflicts and disasters to build understanding of how to improve the lives of the millions of people affected by humanitarian crises around the world.
About our journalism
We cover humanitarian crises around the globe and focus on several thematic issues like conflicts, migration, climate change, natural disasters, gender among others. Our audience is composed of NGO leaders, international or inter-governmental organization officers (i.e. United Nations), academics, public servants, other journalists and media professionals, researchers, philanthropists and foundation executives
