The Evanston RoundTable offers free access and coverage of a broad range of topics, including news about our city and schools, culture and the arts, sports and events. And importantly, through our “Public Square” page, the RoundTable offers a space for a moderated dialogue among readers where points of view can be shared and ideas discussed and debated. Finally, the RoundTable is committed to fact-based, unbiased reporting on issues and events in Evanston. The RoundTable has won numerous journalism awards, including the prestigous Lisagor Award in 2020 for “Best Community/Neighborhood News” from the Chicago Headline Club, the Chicago Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
